Dania Beach/Ft. Lauderdale
Demolition of two (2), 2 x 1 combined cycle units, two (2) steam turbines remaining from a prior re-powering effort, and all related administration, switchyard and water treatment facilities. It also included foundation removal, segregation, characterization, and removal of all demolished materials, as well as crushing/stockpiling of 80,000 tons of concrete on site for FPL’s use in construction of their new, 2 × 1 combined cycle 1,200 MW facility.
19,000 tons of steel were demolished and 2,000,000 pounds of non-ferrous metals recycled.

Cary Town Center
This project was the complete asbestos abatement and structural demolition of a 1,017,000 sq. ft retail complex in Raleigh, NC. The structures included structural columns, erected steel, interior masonry walls, elevated slabs, and reinforced concrete.

Mary Ellen Jones
Demolition and abatement project at the Mary Ellen Jones Building (UNC-CH) in Chapel Hill, NC. This project was the asbestos abatement and demolition of an 11-story, 220,000 sq. ft, steel-framed building with a pre-cast concrete exterior.
Additional work included deconstruction and removal of interior masonry walls, cutting and removal of elevated concrete slabs.

Wake Forest University

600 Willard Street
Structural demolition and removal of a cast-in-place concrete, 8-story hotel, comprising 90,000 sq. ft. This project included a full grading and site package for new construction of 360 residential units and a parking deck.
