“Please accept this letter of recommendation for Foss Demolition, Inc. The Rodgers DPR Joint Venture team partnered with Foss Demolition on the UNCG Nursing and Instructional Building project. Foss was responsible for complete demolition and abatement of the existing 3-story McIver Building located in the heart of UNCG’s campus. The successful demolition and abatement of the building cleared the way for the new nursing building. Foss Demolition acted as a team player and performed the work successfully regarding safety, scheduling, quality, and estimating.
Safety – Foss Demolition planned their work well and it was evident that safety was a priority. All work was performed without any injuries. Foss completed all necessary paperwork and coordinated well with our field superintendents.
Scheduling – Foss Demolition met or exceeded our project schedule, even while encountering more Asbestos Containing Materials than shown on the plans. They participated in all scheduling/planning meetings and worked collaboratively to sequence the demolition per our overall project schedule.
Quality – Foss Demolition submitted all abatement and recycling paperwork as necessary to ensure the successful documentation of the demolition process. Foss ensured that all their scope of work was performed to our satisfaction.
Estimating/Change Management – Foss Demolition submitted a complete bid and performed all their scope of work without hesitation. The minimal change orders for added scope that they did submit were accurate and fair.
